Many people today don’t have a clue of the power in the title of this blog post. Everyone on earth needs to be needed. It’s a trait instilled in everyone’s heart by God. You see people, we are the awesome image of God as illustrated in Genesis 1:23 when God Himself said “Let Us make man in our image, after our likeness.”

Just like we have the need to be needed, God Himself has that very same need. As a matter of fact, His need to be needed is so strong that He sacrificed His only begotten Son Jesus. The scripture John 3:16, that’s recited and rehearsed and taught in Sunday school and has became a religious anthem, is the display of my statement of truth. God has been so misunderstood until in many cases, the way God is spoken on is close to Anti-Christ. God is so down to earth til it’s almost impossible to reveal this truth to many people.

God’s need to be needed by us is so powerful that He decided to make a covenant of love with us without us doing anything. The bible says it like this over in Romans 8:32 He who did not withhold or spare [even] His own Son but gave Him up for us all, will He not also with Him freely and graciously give us all [other] things? Amplified Version.

God will only show Himself to people who truly need Him and just for the things He can provide for them. His heart longs for our needing Him and His hearts longs to provide the answers for all our needs. But He need for us to need Him in spite of providing our needs.
